What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

2inch lift, 285s, and removed the spare underneath since the rear/hitch spare holder will be coming in shortly

 

Strip washed, clay and polish. Ceramic tomorrow tint shop Monday. Best part was my son (12) helping me out. Got this 21 ORP a couple weeks ago and had him help me with a few little upgrades trying to teach him some basics on working on cars and detailing. Probably going to be his hockeymobile once he hits driving age. Have other goodies on order...Bilsteins, cornfed spacers and Uptop Overland full rack

Just removed my 21 TRD Pro suspension and replaced it with a 3" icon setup. Just need to get an alignment and new wheels and tires!

 

Which “stage” did you get? I just did a Stage 2 and I’m very happy with it.

 

Just installed some Huskyliners. Very happy with them. The fit and finish is perfect and it is a huge improvement over the carpet floor mats.

 

I went with this icon bundle from total automotive performace. I got it on Black Friday last year and it took a little while for all the parts to get in but I finally got around to putting it on.

I love husky liners. But my pro came with floormats and they aren't too bad.

 

Very nice! I’m planning to have resi’s added to my front coil overs when they come due for a re-build. I’ll probably swap my 2.0 rears for 2.5’s with resi’s at that time also.

 

I just had the regular carpet floor mats. With two German Shepherds, the dog hair would stick to my shoes and get embedded in the carpet. This won’t keep the hair out but should be way easier to vacuum.

 

I think I paid like 2800 for the suspension out the door which I felt was a steal so I had to pull the trigger. I know the feeling with the dog hair, it gets everywhere!

 

I'm at KIND. We have a G550, G650 and. Global 6000 but that is getting replaced later this year with another G650. My boy plays AAA so we put some miles on vehicles.

 

Celebrated the wife’s birthday this weekend. Hit a few small trails on the way. Got home ordered some goat armor

 

Pulled the trigger on Falken Wildpeaks 265/70R17 standard load for both my 4Runner and the wife’s. Local 4wheel parts was having a sale. 170 per tire and free install for both cars. Couldn’t pass it up. Hope to them have them on by the end of the week.

 

Installed the black Toyota exhaust tip. I'm hoping it stays on, as it still seems like it may wiggle itself off despite tightening down the clamp as tightly as possible.

 

These came in today. Wheels and tires should be in mid week.

 

I also ordered suspension on Black Friday. The parts finally arrived a couple weeks ago. Still waiting for warmer weather to install.

 

For those running a Cb, gmrs, or ham in the front how much coax did you order to run to the rear? All my runs in the Tacoma I used 8-15’ depending on where I had the body.

 

Wish I would have seen that mod before I got rid of my skid plate.

 

He did a great write up on it. Found it just in time for the oil change. Makes getting the plate in place a whole lot faster.

Got everything wrapped up this weekend. All that's left is NFAB steps when they get delivered and tinting once it gets a little warmer. Cornfed leveling kit, TRD wheels, Toyo High Country ATIII's, blacked out emblems, Plasti-dipped roof rack side rails, removed SR5 emblems on pillars. Before and after pics:

 

Took off the running boards, and removed the carpeted mats from the rear, all are for sale if anyone is interested in running boards, or TRD OffRoad carpeted mats for their 4Runner, just let me know!

I have the same black Toyota exhaust tip. Mine came with shims to install under the clamp. With the shims installed, the tip is very, very well-secured to the exhaust pipe.
