What tube steps are these?

Does anybody recognize these tube steps? That's twice now I've seen them but they don't seem to be OEM and I can't find them online. The black truck is from Tejas Toyota and the silver was posted in a FB group. Myself and a couple others asked the FB poster but got no response.

 

They look like the Westin Pro Traxx Nerf bars steps

Are they functional as steps or are they too far inset to get a good foothold?

 

They are functional and do work gr8 for steps and what not...for me it was them bolting to the body not the frame that didn't like
Personal preference and that fact that I prefer sliders for off-road purposes and added side impact protection
