I added velco to the bottom. It works... Mostly.

 

All the time when I am in a hurry. When I actually think about it I give it a jiggle side to side.

 

Little wiggle little shake...sounds like dancin to me LOL

 

Double-sided tape works mostly.

 

My cup holder is MIA.

No clue where I lost it and I don't want to spend $30+ to replace it.

Thanks, I did and I scoured the inside of the truck. Honestly I think what happened was the wife removed it to fit a larger cup in the holder and placed the insert on the floor board. Then it probably fell out unknowingly when we got out somewhere other than home.

But I didn't survive over 30 years of marriage by placing blame on the spouse if you know what I mean.

 

I did find these a while back but didn't order one. Not sure how they are. Looks like a viable replacement.

Gets better. Used "hook and pile tape" on the cup holders, now when the coffee gets stuck in the one closest to the radio, i can remove the plastic trim with it.

 

With or without coffee splash?

 

I'm a professional, no splash from a sealed "contigo" container.

 

LMBO! Well, at least you found a new method for removing trim.... Maybe you should consider YouTubing it. LOL

I am thinking the inserts are just going to get removed and put in the glove box as the Contigo cups I use work just fine without the insert.

I can't replace....my cupholders are notorious for being found in the ER and it's hilarious when everyone at your hospital knows "it's Priscilla's" from her rig Priscilla to the front nurses station...your cup holder was found....again

 

Contigo mugs are freakin' awesome. Coffee's still hot hours later..
