Anyone else have issues with their steering wheel play? I have to turn my wheel 1” either left or right before it actually starts to turn.. driving me nuts

Revised: Replaced my Rack/tie rods/bushings and everything else. I still have the much slack in the wheel which is annoying. I replaced the steering knuckle/coupler, but still Sucks!

Did you see Timmy's Youtube videos on steering wheel play? There are a few fixes that are common for 3rd gens in reagrds to steering wheel slop and it's all in the steering column and not the rack.

Yeah, that's him. All his videos are great and like for 3rd gen Dummies. Every little step and procedure.

Surprisingly I had none of those problems in my column, but I did them anyway. For sure possible problems though.
