What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

you think it will be noticeable on a black SR5 PremT4?

 

First few mods and plenty more to come..
ceramic tints, ceramic coat, LED interior lights, steering wheel emblem matte black overlay over the chrome yota logo.. got to start somewhere.. next falken tires and TRD rims maybe bronze or black still deciding.. any suggestions on mods, send my way.. mahalo..

 

I gave it a major cleaning. Inside and out. It was in the 50s yesterday, and sunny. I hat my vehicles being dirty. Must be an OCD thing.

 

Did you put a level on it? Based on your picture, it looks pretty level. I have the same bumper coming.

 

No I couldn’t find my level and I didn’t even eyeball it. It looks pretty close but I need to check to see to be sure. I think it needs raised a hair on the passenger side.

It’s really nice I’m sure you will love it. My only complaint is with installing the 30” light bar. I “think” I did it right, but wasn’t as easy as putting it on and tightening a couple bolts.

Probably be a lot easier to do with a 20” bar.

 

I have the same light bar. I’ve been debating whether I’m even going to bother installing it. I like the idea of more visibility on winch line as it wraps around the drum when pretensioning.
Just have to wait and see how much sun/uv exposure the winch line would be subjected to without the lightbar in place.

 

I'd go with the carbon fiber vinyl ones..

 

Putting a level on something that everything else is not level does not work out, doing it by measuring is a better option. This is just my opinion though, you do you.

 

Agreed unless the truck is on a level surface the level used on the truck would not be accurate.

 

And also take into consideration the lean of the truck.

No, you are correct assuming he can find a level surface to take the measurements from.

 

But you don’t want to measure from the ground, you want to measure from the vehicle. Yes it helps if you have a perfect spot to park while doing it.

 

Added a Toyota center console safe; only took about 10 minutes to install. For reference, it’s part # 00016-86184

 

Remote start installed on the ‘21 SR5. Viper Ds4+. Meh. It’ll do what we want, expandable, and decent price installed.

I was really impressed with this stuff. It left all the surfaces clean without the greasy residue.

 

Need a good recommendation for a fire extinguisher. Maybe two my wife turns 40 in 28 days and that’s a lot of candles.

does is shut off when you open drivers side door? i been wanting to do that on my 21 SR5P..

 

Just bought RRW RR7-H hybrid beadlock -12mm offset wheels. Looking to either put on the following tires:
Toyo AT3 285/75r17 OR 305/70r17

I have read that the wider tires will give me more rubbing (as expected). But unsure of how much modifications I will have to do once I get ask my other accessories installed.

 

I’d recommend an amerex or h3r; ABC type.

 

You'll definitely need to do the fender liner mod, some mudflap modification (or removal), and I would plan on a body mount chop.

 

If you have push start, it will shut down when you open the door. If you have a regular key, it will not shut down when you open the door.
