Anyone able to tell me what visors these are? I messaged the owner, but not sure they get alerts; due to no replies. The AVS site doesn’t show anything that appears this flat.

I'm curious to see what your impressions are - installation, wind noise (if any), and how they work to let air in/out and keep rain out.

No offense! but as good as that 4Runner looks, there could be pink flowers painted on the side, and I’d be looking for them too!;)

in all honesty they do look good, sleek, and slim.

If you read the review link I shared, he goes into detail about them and compare them to the larger traditional wind/rain deflectors

I did read that review, and it seemed that while they liked the look, they would prefer the regular AVS version vs the low-profile, due to their thinking those would provide more window opening space, and less rain intrusion. From that install/review:

"They’re definitely much lower of a profile than the last set I had on our other 4Runner. So far they have been working, however, the other rain guards they make definitely prevent more water from coming into the cabin.

It’s pretty simple. These lower profile guards protect a small gap of open window space and the larger rain guards protect more open window space. If you are looking for the most protection and water prevention, go with the regular size window guards. the regular size guards have a larger lip that hangs over the glass much farther than these low profile ones.

If I had to choose an option between the two, I would go with the original ones. Even though the low profile ones look cleaner, the original ones actually do a better job at preventing water from entering the cabin. My main gripe with the low profile version is that you have to really find the sweet spot with where the window sits and what the visor can protect. The full-size rain guards allow you to open your windows more, letting more fresh air in, all while keeping the rain and water out."

So, I am curious as to whether @Toyota.AMR shares their opinion of these...

I just bought a WeatherTech 4-piece set for my 2019 4Runner Limited. I had them, second hand, on a 2019 Tundra; I liked them and had them in and out and back in without issue. I would like for them to work on this vehicle.

But, luckily, I didn't peel the tape off of the back two because I am thinking of sending them back. On the fronts, I have a driver's side window that won't go all the way up - not stuck open too far but far enough to be a problem - no matter how much and how many times I adjusted it. On the passenger's side, my auto window won't go up and comes back down - still the same after 10+ up-and-down cycles.

    Can anyone help, please?

I have these AVS Low Profile Ventvisors on my 4Runner. Super easy double sided 3M tape installation, no wind noise. Definitely better than without the visors for buffeting wind and keeping rain out , but I don't really drive around with my window open when it's it raining. Just did it to test it. Also bought the AVS Bugflector which was super easy to install too.

I have the low pro files ones too.. my adhesive was coming off on the driver side so I asked about good double sided adhesive to buy on the forum..went to do it this morning..

decided not to get my heat gun & I tried pulling it off and yeah you guessed it.. cracked it!!!! took all of them off and now I got to buy new ones..

now debating if I want the same low pro or in channel..

they work fine very minimal wind noise.. its does its job on cracking the windows on hot days/raining days for fresh air BUT you can't crack the window as much as the in channel ones.. comparison to the 1997 4R we have with the in channel visors..

Having owned both narrow and large visors, I much prefer the larger WellVisors that allow the windows to be opened more while also blocking more of the sun. I had them on my J100 Land Cruiser before this J150.

These WellVisors use 3M adhesive strips as well as a couple of clips. They are excellent. I can crack the windows a full three inches and no one knows I'm inside. However, during a tropical storm with sustained winds in excess of 35 mph, the windows need to be almost all the way up.
