2000 limited please help

    2000 4 runner limited 2 wheel drive automatic trans 330000 miles
    4runner wont accelerate unless stomped into passing gear-replaced fuel filter-TPS-MAF Sensor-spark plugs & wires- coil pack with out any change?
    Witts end at this point-any suggestions?
    Just found this in garage that was removed recently, could this have anything to do with this issue?

    Yeah, first verify no codes were thrown.

    If codes, figure out what is causing them.

    If no codes...maybe a clogged cat.

    I don't think I would figure it is starved for gas since it's not dying...but it will accelerate.

    Maybe bad injectors...but I would think it would run rough and throw a code.

    Could be a bad TPS maybe. The ECU can't figure out where the gas pedal is until you crank it past the bad point in the TPS (full throttle). But again...I think a code would pop up...plus you said you changed it.

    That harness you show there looks like it's got an ABS sensor on it?...if so, it's not the issue.

    None. Bone Stock. EXCEPT: Brushguard, tow hitch, both welded to the frame. It's good to have friends and a fully equipped garage!
    Many years ago, when I bought my pickup, in 88, I was told by some professional mechanics I worked with to beat the heck out of your cats once in a while. I do mine once a year. Just take a ballpeen hammer and whack them senseless. Apparently it helps stir things up, and keeps the bedding from packing down. Every time I do it, the trucks definitely run better, and smell different than just before I do it.
    Don't bend, or break the shielding around the cat(s), but give em a good beating. You might be surprized.

    By the same token, those same mechanics told me to take a big screwdriver and, after removing the cat, stick it into the cat. Stir it around, and dump all the goodies inside into the garbage. Then put the cat back on. They didn't like the whole catalytic converter concept, apparently.
    Since we were in Yuma, Az. at the time, and there are no emissions tests, it did make sense. I never had the guts to do mine, but I do beat on them, and they're both still working fine. One on each vehicle. I did pull all the emissions crud off the pickup, though. Air pump, piping etc. It definitely ran better afterward.
