Well I’ve gotten 20 years out of my trailer hitch I think it’s class IV, has eight bolts. But it’s getting crusty and I need to change it before the upcoming boating season. So, found this class III, tubular hitch this price is shipped.....6D61190D-7748-426B-841F-EAB3974BEEC7.jpgAnybody suggest another??

Got an eight bolt hitch ordered, from the RV place for $180., have to p/u, just looking for longevity. My 4R had the hitch removed, prob tried to tow something too heavy, it was a splicing work truck, I think that’s after they replaced the trans.....

It was robust as hell and didn't even have a dent considering the wheeling I've done with it on before my dual swingout bumper :anonymous:

Looks nice. I was thinking on a new 4R; why could you not remove it has new and spray it with a thick coat of rubberized undercoating, or see if Line Ex would spray it (cover the holes obvioulsy and reinstall).

Might be something to consider if you wanted on a new one before you install (its just me though I am more fussy than most)

The old one has multiple coats of paint I tried my best to save it. The frame is flawless. Well I’m picking up my hitch tomorrow from the RV place. And giving the property owner a ride to get her medicine (that’s part of the deal). I asked my neighbor and he’s gonna let me borrow the 18v impact gun. I had a bad experience with this thing putting my bull bar on. We will see how it goes.

Charged me $200 for a four bolt hitch I could of got from Amazon for $170 shipped

No wonder Amazon is taking over..,..

Ok instructions say the two center bolts are lugs welded in the frame. OK great I understand.
Now tell me how this bracket is supposed to miss the two center lugs and attach to my frame when the bolt pattern is an inch off?

Ya, China can built great stuff but they do it to cut costs and make money. This country will be bankrupt in a year...

Amazon sells the same hitch. I have no idea why they don’t fit right?
Just going to keep what I got, wire brush it, POR it, and live life to the fullest...
