Perhaps this will be a "duh" for most. It wasn't for me. I had to search high and low around Toyota's website to finally find a .pdf brochure related to ToyotaCare that (at least, finally) had some tiny fine print at the bottom.

    https://www.toyota.com/toyota-owners-theme/pdf/ToyotaCare_English_Brochure.pdf

ToyotaCare covers "Regular factory scheduled maintenance" and, apparently, driving off-road isn't normal or regular in a 4Runner.

My dealership apparently didn't even know this as they (twice) told me that my propeller shaft would be lubricated, and then afterward told me it was lubricated. It was not lubricated, not to my surprise. Well, now I know that they aren't even technically supposed to do it, so I can only be annoyed at them for blatantly lying.

Cheers (but not to Toyota  :p)

That is why most on here do their own maintenance.
