Hi all, I just moved my 4runner that was parked on snow and noticed something must be leaking. It looks like antifreeze, but I would’ve expected (based on experience) that antifreeze would have eaten through the snow rather than just discolored it. I’ll get under there when it is more dry out, but any thoughts based on the location? The tire mark is where the front right (passenger side) tire was.

    Thanks!

Could possibly be a leaky A/C line somewhere. Read that manufacturers put a blue or green dye into the system to help identify leaks. And your picture is what it would look like

Did you stick your finger in it to see the color and smell?

Were you running the defrost? Could it be condensation?

The color was what threw me. I pretty much have no sense of smell left (as a result, I no longer trust myself to work with natural gas). And given that it was mixed with snow, hard to fell the texture. I’ll get under there this weekend if I can find a dry spot.

I was unaware that A/C may have a dye in it from the factory.

    thanks again!
