    Hi all-
I was wondering if anyone has feedback (good/bad) regarding the Go Treads folding traction boards? I am not planning on adding a roof rack so I really like the idea of having traction boards that are more compact. I am sure you loose some of the traction from not having a rigid board but I am only planning on light offroading/overlanding so I think they would get the job done if I need them.

Thanks in advance for any feedback!

They sure seem to be doing a lot of FB advertising these days! I don't know anyone who runs them. I'd stick with MaxTrax or another high quality, proven device.

You can mount stuff on your factory cross bars with the Yakima Mighty Mounts. If you want to add an extra layer of theft protection, get Hi-Lift's versatile lock (key lock). If you get those, make sure the bolts you use with the mighty mounts are the same thread as the locks.

I do have a set and I recommend them. They work fine, maybe even "better" that MT in certain specific situations due to being able to bend to fit terrain contours. They are inexpensive and stow away easily. The material feels robust and quality and there's no excess plastic flash or mold residue, they feel durable. I think they're US made (?). Downsides, they can't be used as a "bridge" like Maxtrax but those are pretty unique situations so I wouldn't let that be my deciding factor.
