I want to know if it's possible if I can put a 2011 or newer tundra limited rim on my stock height 99 4runner, I know I have to use an adapter to convert my 6 lug pattern to the 5 lug rim but aside from that I know I'm going from a 16" rim to a 20". Any help or advice in the right direction would be much appreciated and thank you all in advance.

well the adapter is gonna push the wheels outwards and create rubbing issues probably on the fender and mudflap areas, especially with a change in tire size

What if I'm going with a smaller or lower series tire on the 20" rim? My current tire size now is a 285/70-65/16 on the stock rim, so it does have a pretty beefy tire now with no rubbing issues but I get what you mean on the adapter part pushing out the new rim and tire combo.

i didnt realize, in that case, youre probably going to be ok, i think the only concern would be with the width of the tire/rim combo

Good to know, thanks so much on the helpful info. So do you guys also give advice and work on Land cruiser's? I've been planning on picking up a mid to late 90's one to do a mild 4x4 build but more of a daily driver, but I'm definitely going to do a frame on restoration/build. I'm just waiting for the right truck to come along, definitely want something cancer free and as stock as possible so I can build my way. But first I gotta make sure my baby runner is fully crossroad worthy before I touch another TOYOTA, thanks again and this is a Great Site, Great Forum, Great Helpful People.
