    Afternoon 4RUNNER fam!

Let me just start off by saying I love my truck! It's very reliable and I have no plans on trading it in for anything. I started with the 97 4R and finally decided to trade it in for the 5th gen at 265,000!

Anyways I just want to vent about my experience with the BFC light company. I look on their website and was very impressed with their designs. So I decided to buy my own custom package. I was kind of hesistant because if you do a google search of the company there are a number of people who have had horrible experiences with this company but I was thinking oh well it won't happen to me so I proceeded to buy from them. Huge mistake. The headlights literally started to fall apart after 2 weeks of use! I paid $250 to have them installed and wire and all that was for nothing! I contacted the company to make them aware of the email and their response was a joke! They wanted me to take the headlight off and send it back to them while they try to work on it. Umm am I supposed to drive around with one headlight while you try to figure it out? Also I have inspection coming up and I cant pass due to the headlight! They didn't care. They wanted to argue and place blame elsewhere when it was clearly poor worksmanship!

All they had to do was send me a new headlight I would send the damage one back and then they could refund me for the installation cost because I know nothing about installing headlight so I got it installed professionally. I still have the receipt from the install place. That would make the experience a lot better.

All in all it was a horrible experience! I regret not listening to my instinct about the company. They have horrible products and horrible customer service so I am sure they won't be in business for too much longer!

Bad luck. But, welcome to the forum anyway. Hopefully they are not a US company.

I get wanting to modify your truck so it's unique, but I fail to understand headlight and taillight mods. There are precious few (especially at the lower price points) that aren't total pieces of shit, which also look like ass.

    Lesson learned, I guess.

They are based in Colorado! Yes I just wanted something more clean and updated looking. It actually looked really good when it was on properly.
