Has any one ever attempted to swap out the hydro style brake booster for a vacumm style booster? Looking at pictures online it seems like the tundra and the 4runner boosters have very similar bolt patterns. My 2004 booster is squeeking when the pump shuts off and cycles every few minutes even without touchng the brakes. In doing this conversion I woud keep the factory abs pump and wire the control to all ways think they system has pressure. In theory it should work but I have yet to see anyone try. Kind of suprising considering the cost of a new master and booster. Thoughts?
