What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

Gave the 4runner a good wash. Also bought new wheels and tires for the Tacoma. Selling the old wheels if anyone is interested. They are 16x8 XD Hoss 795.

 

Sorry forgot to mention the suspension lift. This is what I went with, mild lift, OEM look appeared to be lower in front.

Does anyone have any experience with Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 3s? If not, any recommendations on a reliable A/T tire that performs well on-road and trails? Also, no need for snow rated where I am from. Thank you in advance.

 

Toyo AT3. I switched to these from BF's and couldnt be happier.

 

17.5 nice !! .. my bff manx is over 15 now ..I attribute that to not getting those poison vax shots, health does not come from a needle. She almost died at around 5 (severe reaction about 5 hours after LAST shot visit) before I realized this corrupt crap being pushed on us all. Good on you for being a good family.

This happened to me once where the defrost wouldn’t work. Turned out the rear window wasn’t up all the way, even though it looked like it was. When I hit the rear window “up” switch, it went up a millimeter. Then, the defrost worked!

 

I already got my old man park pass, waiting on our boreas xt teardrop.

Anyone having issues of the thing lunging forward when sitting at a red-light or stopped in traffic? The past few days I have been sitting at a light or stopped in traffic and it feels like someone bumps into me....

 

Keep the brake fully depressed..??

I’ve never admitted it until now, but about 5 months ago I rear ended someone at a stop light. Looking down at my phone and the fucker crawled forward.

Seriously. I've only had issues with braking when in 4WD low, and that's got to be from all the torque. It does stop, but you've got to PRESS.

If it's not stopping normally in any circumstance but especially in 2WD or 4WD high then you've got to get it checked out before you rear end someone like that other guy did.

 

Ha ha no that’s a buddy of mines. I was borrowing their garage since mine is currently under construction being turned into a another bedroom for our boys. Even though we are about to sell our house and build a new own way the heck away from the city.

 

Well, got my parts all together. Now if only I had my 4Runner.

Got our lfd crossbars in, gotta say these are pretty beefy and exceptionally well built. Still waiting for the MAB crossbar extension so we can mount our rtt and awning!

 

Not really something I did TO the Runner but something to make it easier to do things. This should make washing, waxing, putting stuff up there, etc. easier for this old man lol. With a 20% coupon it's well worth it.

Yeah, not much here.
It was however 50° here today so it was a great day for a good wash. I need to get the truck to the Xpel installer for a maintenance but not bad for almost 2yrs sitting outside.
I did my work truck but that wasn't worth pictures. Now my wife wants the black overlay kit. I really like the silver just on the sides.
As always I spent more time on the frame & chassis...
