Interior lights

I want my inside lights to come on when I unlock it. Does anyone know how to do this mod. I looked online but not luck. Thank you in advance 3rd. Gen

 

I didn't realize this was a "mod" per se. I could be wrong, but that seems like it would be a factory feature, especially if its a newer gen.

From what I could find for you with a google search, it is tied to the dealer installed Toyota alarm (RS3000 VIP System).

 

You can install a relay in between your door lock and dome circuit. It will make the light unlatch per say and have OPEN = light on when unlock.
It is def a feature if you install an aftermarket alarm as well. Check out the12volt.com for some ideas.
