I'm a retired school teacher from Alaska who is in Washington state now to help with family as we all grow older. I have a 2000 limited 4runner with 90K on it. My wife bought it new in AK and still drives it. I can't seem to talk her into another vehicle that has more modern safety devices. It has broken one of the splash/rock guard bolts off and I'm trying to find another to replace it. It is the guard that is pretty much right under the driver's seat. Toyota doesn't have them any more, so I'm trying to find a source for them. Don't need OEM, but something that will fit and hopefully not fall off. Her previous car is an '87 Supra and finding parts for that is even more fun.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks

    John

Thanks, I need the panel, not the bolt though.

been there...done that...with two vehicles....1990 Isuzu Trooper.....and 1987 Fiero GT....Fiero parts are easier to find...now, the Isuzu parts..are getting hard to locate...and when you do, it's vastly over priced....after 25 yrs, that's one of the reasons, why I finally sold my trooper...

Ahhh I see. Try car-part.com. It searches wrecking yards for the part you need.

I'll give it a try, the other places I've tried wouldn't take the part number or didn't show it.

    Thanks

On the used car part searches, just do a search for something like a door. This should find 4Runners in junkyards in the area. A lot of yards take pictures of the cars from each side and you can usually see if it has/had the part on the site.

You may need to just go visit and ask if they have the part on that car.
