I'm surprised I've never seen these mentioned once in all of my research both here and on the other forum. I suppose they're new?

PERFORMANCE SERIES 2.0 SNAP RING COIL-OVER IFP SHOCK (SPRING NOT INCL) - 985-62-001
    https://www.ridefox.com/product.php...oyota&model=4Runner+&year=2020&position=Front

No mention of piston design... any chance these are linear like other FOX shocks?? Maybe I'll give them a call...

Looks like they're a bit pricier than the competition, as expected.. $249 each MSRP

Probably linear according to these guys..
    Rebuildable, too.
    Cool!

The lower bushing area really stands out on me on the FOX vs the Bilstein. The Bilstein is so much larger, it looks beefier! But is that just a result of the Bilstein having OE style bushings whereas the FOX looks like it has more of a ... solid metal type bushing?

That's a different product. That's the 2.0 "Coilovers" from FOX, which yes, I've seen mentioned a few times around.

These look like the shocks out of those coilovers, but snap ring'd instead of threaded, and designed to be used with OE style springs and OE top hats.

Just another option for 4Runner folks.. cause there aren't enough already lol.

Reuse your new-ish OE top hats and assemble these yourself with your choice of springs for a total of $700 vs. the $900+ for the already assembled FOX Coilovers, which perform probably the same. Other than ease of installation, which to many is moot, the only benefit I can currently see in the "coilover" option is the fine adjust-ability in case one is averse to "lean."

Ah got me there, didn’t see that there’s no threads. I wonder if anyone has used them before. Interesting.
