Hey guys. I have a 1995 Toyota 4runner 3.0 V6. When I bought the car it's always had this issue. My grille and front bumper are very tight together. The bumper sides near the wheel well are tilted down. I know maybe to got hit a little. But how can I adjust the bumper to get it back to not being so tight and back to being level. Thanks in advance.

    Justin,
Behind the lower valence the frame horns have two hex headed machine screws that attach the bumper brackets to the frame. As these are perpendicular to the front of the 4Runner the horn and the bracket will provide a rotational slip joint once you loosen these screws. Also there is a connection at the bumper ends that are behind the inner fender panel at the front of the wheel well. They may need to be loosened as well. If you can manage the 6 fasteners you may be able to persuade the bumper to come downward and away from the grill. But I suspect the bumper and the brackets are probably slightly bent from an impact that has happened and so that may not work for you if the cold working is extreme on the brackets.

Failing that, it might be time for an All Pro?
