OTD Pricing 2020

I’m fairly certain this is probably not a good deal whatsoever. What are rates are people getting on their 2020/2021s? Dealership says they won’t budge on “already low prices”

this is for a 2020 SR5 premium 4x4 with moonroof with 2 miles in Grapevine, TX. It’s been titled so it’s not considered new. Should I just try and go for a 2021? I just hate the entire dealership process.

 

Seems like a reasonable subtotal. Nothing you can do about the sales tax. Get a detailed printout of the fees so you can see what's "dealer fees" and what's title fees.

 

Heres about 500 pages of what people are paying. I usually read back 10-20 pages to get a current idea. A year ago 44k msrp could be had for 37.8. Either way play the dealers don't let them play you. even at 4-5k under msrp they still laugh their way to the bank

 

How has it been titled with 2 miles on it? That would raise a major red flag with me.

But, if it was new with a MSO and I was in the market, the OTD price seems pretty good in this market.

Dealers sometimes buy vehicles off the lot to keep quota and get all the holdback and manufacturer incentives.
Then they turn around and sell it again and make money twice.

 

Makes sense. But, if you bought it then, does the factory warranty still apply on a "used" vehicle? Some warranties are for the original owner only.

 

The service department buys cars off the lots for their loaners then trades them in later for new loaners. These have to be insured, titled..etc. I bought mine with 3300 miles on it as the loaner. I am technically the second owner, but I still got all my Toyota Total Care visits and the full 3 year bumper to bumper warranty.

 

Got my 2021 SR5 Base 4WD with blackout package and third row for $38,800 OTD in Houston TX

 

I recommend Family Toyota in Burleson, TX... not too far from Grapevine... in terms of distance in Texas... LOL. Super awesome staff there. The friendliest Toyota dealership I’ve been to yet.

 

Paid my brand new 2020 4Runner Premium $40500 OTD six months ago here in Phoenix AZ. 4x4, no moonroof, no 3rd row seat and with leather seats. Called that day 11 other Toyota dealerships here in the valley and lowest I found before my price it was $41400.

 

What are the "fees" for? A wash, and cleaning the interior, checking the oil. They would have to tell me what the fees are for. I know it's 'only' $500, but I wouldn't throw it out the window either. I know exactly what you say about the "dealership expierience", I can't stand it either, BTW, that's about what I paid for my 2020 ORP with aftermarket tires and a leveling kit... just saying.
