Hi. Can anyone recommend a bull/brush/push bar for 2020 4Runner with the proximity sensor. I see some online but the pictures do do them no justice. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Personally they’re a waste of money even in small parking lot mishaps they cause a lot of damage better off getting a blitz/lo pro type of guard more functional and protection

If your driving through tall grass they help protect your radiator and help protect against collisions with wild life. Just be aware most people drive on the road where they get their nickname 'damage multiplier', because in a collision with a car or building the hard steel is pushed through the front grille and it acts like brass knuckles with your radiator and damages it even more.

Lots of good advice here (trust) you get what you like and dress how you want (I wear tiedye) I don't care what anyone says I look good in it lol
Lots of us run lo pro bumpers for a reason but if you like the guards then here's an optional style

The main reason I want one is added protection. I live in an area where there is a lot of whitetail and they don’t care about crosswalks. I like the idea for a low profile and it looks good.

I like these front bumper guards I installed on my Tacoma several months ago, made by AVID Offroad in Arizona. They are well engineered bolt-ons that provide just the amount of protection that I prefer, and are sufficient to deal with light knocks from parking lots & slow brushes with rock and small trees etc, and the tubes are beautifully bent and welded. I don't know if they are available yet for T4Rs. I used to buy similar great lightweight front, side and rear armor from a shop called True Radius Bending in Michigan. Still have them on my Wrangler. Wish they were still around. If anyone sees this type of stuff around for the Runner, please let me know. I used to use the heavy dual tube stuff, like the Smittybilt, and it works well and lasts forever but looks dated.

Hitting another vehicle or a deer at speed isn't the issue to me. That's going to mess things up badly no matter what. Cost of living, I guess. It's the day to day regular light off road use or work around the farm that create the dings that should not rack up large repair bills if you like to keep the vehicle looking sharp. Heavy welded armor will often bend the frame rails after any incident, which makes things worse. It also sets you up for liability claims if someone gets hurt. I hate carrying weight up front with a heavy bumper or winch etc except on heavy trucks. It makes traveling fast on rough terrain a chore.

I had a tourist guy hit my Tacoma head on in the front at about 5mph after I had already stopped, when he came around a blind curve on a single track dirt back road moving too fast in a BMW sedan. Hardly damaged the BMW, but the bill to the insurance co for my Taco repair was over 5k. Would have barely scratched the paint with light armor. My neighbor has a stock 2019 Taco which got a knock in front recently, and the dealership and the local quality body shops won't put a new bumper on it for him without heavy frame repairs. Time for him to invest in tools and learn how to weld.

I am regularly pushing confused beefers out of the way, at crawl speed, on the main road home. Much more sanitary to have them sliming up a brushbar than paintwork. This is probably a quaint historical concern to most wheelers.
Some stock will just stand there, surrounded by a cloud of flies and their young 'uns, until some sort of gentle physical intervention is undertaken.

Ben there done that! I was raised on a small beef/dairy farm. More than 1 of our cattle was "persuaded" with the use of our pickup... Gently of course, as to not bruise the "product."
