TRD roof rack noise.

    After swapping out the TRD Exhaust, the car now is lexus quiet and I've noticed a "thumping" sound at around 120km/h or 75mph, turns out its the roof rack cross bar, specifically the one that's mounted on top from factory, if you remove it or move it to the lower position, the sound will simply disappear.

    Hopefully this information will be useful in the future.

    Fyi any type of roof rack noise can be cured with a bungee. Wrap it wide spiral around the bar and the noise will stop.

    it’s the same concept as radio antennas. They have the wire wrapped around because it disrupts air flow and keeps it from making noise.

    A lot of luxury cars come with rubber inserts for the top of OEM crossbars that have angled raised sections to mimic the spiral would noise cancellation while being less noticeable to the eye.
