Driver window has to be rolled up carefully with the button otherwise it rolls down halfway if it touches the top. How do I either reset this or disable it?

Pretty sure that functionality is in the motor assembly.

Probably need new motor assembly...or probably a lot of good used ones out there.

Edit: so looking out there and other cars have this issue. Can be the tracks need greasing. The Windows need cleaning on the edge. Some silicone spray on the weather stripping can all help.

More expensive fix is replacing the regulator/motors. I haven't done it on my car yet so maybe I'm not much help here.

I have had to reset them after disconnecting the battery for long periods of time. Usually it relearns after being powered back up and rolling the window all the way up and down a few times.

Is yours auto up and/or down?

Ya its an auto switch. Basically I can't use the auto function up because of this. It hasn't relearned either

Ya I had an old car that had the issue too, never got it fixed though as the motor ended up breaking entirely. The tracks are pretty smooth and clean
