What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

welcome another member to the family.

 

Now that is the roof rack that should come with the 4 runners.

 

We used ours to charge our phones this morning.
All because of some mutha fucking jack hole/s using a chainsaw at 1:30 AM to cut down, for whatever reason, 3 power poles that were a few miles from us.
We got our power back on about 2 hours ago.
We feel so sorry to the kids that couldn’t wake up their Dad to open their presents because they had to go to work to repair the lines.
And to all the other households that woke up in the dark.

When they get caught, there will be no punishment good enough for them.

I’m still pissed but, it’s nice to see the neighborhood kids playing with their new snow toys.

Spent Christmas driving Bloody Basin Road in the Agua Fria National Monument. And, of course, picked up a bag of trash.

if your going to get it, don't use alcohol come with to clean off your hood, it almost strips my clear code away. Just wash your car and install it.

I have both, personally prefer iDrive 10x more than Pedal Commander. iDrive (IMHO) is more responsive...and less expensive.
Once installed the iDrive is a much cleaner look as well. Pedal Commander was much bulkier to me.

Gave it back to Toyota because of the fuel pump recall.....

 

The trick I use is to remove the weather strip at the top of the panel first; pop it off the panel, and put it back on the door first... then line up the panel with the tabs on the weather strip. All goes back on way easier then.

 

We have the same valve stem covers. My brother in-law said to be careful. They can seize on & they have to cut the stem & ruin the TPMS & usually wheel damage.
We live with snow & salt so I use them in the summer only.

Just got done washing it today. A mess after that snow storm. Also just added my Rokblokz front mudflaps. Tomorrow I will add the rear and clean the interior.

 

And new mudflaps.

 

Hell yeah! Pro tip: Turn the box inside out and take some pics of your truck in the showroom it creates before you beat it up on the trails. Have fun! And if your steering goes out, it's probably the servo. I replaced it with an Arrma AR390139 servo, and it's been fine so far. Since getting it last summer, that's the only thing that broke. I just have to take the wheels off and clean out the spot where the wheels meet the axles from time to time. Fishing wire can collect in there slowing your truck down.

Small project today. Installed airline style rail with anchor.

 

Victory 4x4 Shelves finally arrived so I had to install ASAP. Looks great and accommodates the sliding cargo deck really well!

 

Oh my... that wheel/army green combo is awesome!

 

One more thing: You installed the two side pieces of bumper on the wrong sides, and you have to cut off the fender flare pieces that would have been on the stock bumper. But if you're thinking about going back to the stock bumper, then don't cut the fender flare pieces right now.

 

lolz yes I was in hurry installs, I notice as soon I saw the pic. I put back the normal bumper for now. I used my old battery 11.1V , damn that thing is too fast.. 7.4V is good.

Thanks Chris, Yeah it seems lately wherever I go have been getting a lot of compliments on it.

 

Cool, crisis averted with the extra fender flares. I don't see myself ever going back to the stock bumper, though.

I just got my first 11.1V 3S long battery last week. I like it in the Trailrunner. It helped me to climb one spot that my shorty 7.4V 2S couldn't climb. I knew when I tried climbing it last summer that if I had just a bit more speed to get a bit more momentum, I'd make it. I finally did it a couple days ago when I went back to that spot. The only other add-on I had was I went with aluminum beadlock adapters. A little bit heavier than the stock plastic ones I was running last summer but a lot lighter than the brass ones I was running for the past couple months.

 

Sweet! I'll definitely take a look if I pull the doors again.
