2016 4x4 Limited bull bars

I'm waiting for my new 4Runner to get here should get it next week. Dark gray limited with black leather. I've been looking online at options and features I can get to spice up the look and protect it from the other idiots on the roads. I live in Dallas TX so lots of traffic. I was rear ended in my Volvo XC90 a couple of weeks ago was very minor I was stopped at a light and the kid following to close hit me. My empty hitch receiver seemed to help keep the damage down. I was hit a hew years ago before I had added the hitch and I had about 3k in damage.

I know that nothing will stop all damage if you are hit but what suggestions do you have that may help. I've seen some comments on the "superbumper" but it looks like it sticks out pretty far. I've seen some other hitch steps that look pretty good too are there other good options?

Also does anyone know of a bull bar being made for the 2016 Limited? I've seen some that say they work on all 2016's except for limited. UGH!
