I keep getting great information from this Forum. Another question:

Do any of you have those colored brake caliber covers available aftermarket ? I realize they are just for show. But I'm wondering how they would look on a 2021 ORP ?

Thanks for your reply. I was hoping to see some pics of Forum members 4R's with these on. Just wanted opinions if these look good on a 4Runner.
    Thanks, Rick

People could say the same about the dumb wheels in your pic... if I want to spend 240 on something, that’s my prerogative. Doesn’t mean I “sux”.

Agreed. Just because I didn't spend money for a Pro, or step sliders, or a bull bar, doesn't mean that I think the people who did suck. Their vehicle, their money, their choice.

Your money your business, but if you post here you will get opinions. And this is mine I stand by: $11 covers retailing for $240 because of Toyota part number on it is a rip off. Also I appreciate your opinion on my wheels. GL

On second thought, you right I used strong words "sux" is not a way to describe some ones actions or intentions also it is not recognized word in Webster's English dictionary. I apologize for possibly offending any one here and possibly causing unnecessary anxiety and stress. I don't want any one having meltdown for not getting support and likes in "dumb" intentions. Please forgive me and happy holidays.

I'm going to say paint again. The cover while it is red looks eh.

Its flat and flat. Didn't even try to make it look like a caliper at all.

Paint looks so much better. Good paint will look good for a long time.

I’m not sure what’s involved in installing the covers but I remember changing my brake pads and painting the calipers was my introduction to taking things apart. I was 16 and my dad was nervous that I wouldn’t get things back together, but I’m still here and so is that Pontiac, so I guess it was a success.

Putting personal preference aside, my concern with caliper covers would be trapping moisture and dirt (contaminates).

There is no OEM caliper covers. I called Toyota parts directly.

Yup. If they did then all the TRD models would have them slapped on.

Try taking the associated part number - Part Number: 00016-89017
To any local Toyota. See if it shows in the inventory - None

    Definitely aftermarket.

If I were one of those posters that always has to be negative I'd reply how caliper covers always look terrible and are a really dumb way to spend money, but I'll keep my opinion to myself instead.
