    need your help everyone.

Everything for my lift is in but I need your help again everyone. I need to purchase these 4 items. please answer 4 questions below.

Purchased: Kings 2.5 coilovers in front and king shocks rear w/ icon 2.0 springs, SPC UCA

    1. I am ordering bumpstops from Toytec some Toytec 2" bumpstops, how are they? any issues?

    2. I have an ORP w/kdss heard some people say no need, and some installs say to do a differential drop. Such confusing info. Is it needed or not?

3.also going to go falken wildpeaks AT 295 70 17. i live in norcal where it rains in winter, how are these in the rain?

    4. Spacers Spidertraxx 1.25" - Id like the tires to stick out a little. Why, for looks. With the BMC and Front bumper chop/mud guards/etc removed, will it still rub?

Thanks everyone in advance for kindly replying.

I'm going to go on a limb and you prolly need an agressive BMC and a lot of trimming for 295s and spacers.

    Still may rub.

No gearing either? You might hate it with stock gearing.

Its more how much of the body mount you cut when doing it. I don't have pics of mine but mine was very minimal I still have a lot more metal I could shop if needed.

    But I only have 285s.

I have no experience with Toytec, but haven't heard anything bad.

What are you saying about the rear diff? I'm not understanding your question.

The guys who run Wildpeaks seem to consider them the holy grail of AT's, including fantastic rain and snow traction. I've almost never read a complaint about them.

Your wheels will dictate whether you rub with those spacers. What wheels are you going to use?

Maybe the track bar I'm guessing. its the only optional thing I can think of for the rear.

    1. Any bump stop will work better than OE
    2. N/A (no kdss) add rear diff? No idea.
DILLUSION is on the money an adjustable track bar
    3.im ar 285 and happy
    4. Same spacers...you'll probably have to trim some fat off the splash guard and body mount and use a BFH to bent the tub a tine bit

Oh about diff drop...I want to say you're talking about a front diff drop. I don't have issues without a diff drop. That said I've had a death wobbly for years...I've read a diff drop could help. I've also read a barring bushing will on the driver side will also take care of that. Have had a a diff drop for a few months now but been too lazy lately.

Front, then? It depends on how much lift you're going for. Mine are set at 2.3" front lift, and my CV angles seem fine. I think at or above 3" it's probably worth doing. I think it's cheap and easy, so you can always order it and decide once the suspension settles.

Unfortunately Falken doesn't make the Wildpeak AT3W in a 295/70/17... Wish they did. I wanted them in that size as well.

How about a 285/75/17? Just a pinch taller and skinnier. I'm probably going that size with MT's next spring.

Yup, they make them in the 285/75/17. I prefer a wider to skinnier tire (looks wise that is), so I’ll probably end up with the ridge grapplers. I’m still considering the wildpeaks in that 285/75 though

I have a 2.5" Front Dobinsons lift, 295/70/17 Geolandars, 1.25 Spidertrax. I have a BMC, pushed liners forward, trimmed rocker panel caps, removed front flaps, and trimmed the front of the bumper close to an inch and I do not rub anymore. You can see it trimmed on the front of the bumper in the picture below.

Curios to see your feedback on those tires! I was torn between those and the nittos I have now, and went with the nittos as I didn’t see myself needing an MT but they do look good!

Thanks man! I came from Ridge Grapplers in the stock size for about 20k. I did not notice a huge difference between how they ride, just the weight with these being an E-rated tire. They are a beast off-road, minimal road noise, and have not had any issues with balancing them. I didn't *need* them per say either but they look awesome and I do have a bunch of GA red clay/mud around here where I frequent so they definitely did not hurt to have!

what is your wheel offset? I really want to go to 295’s and my wheel offset is -10. I wonder w the BMC and other small cuts(mudguards, other plastic guards) would it fit?

These TRD wheels are 0mm offset, with 1.25" spacers if my math is right I have an effective -31mm offset.

No sir, I don't feel it is needed. I average 16-17mpg still and it doesn't feel a whole lot different from the stock tires. I almost went with the 285/75/17 but was talked out of it and was told from numerous people part of a local group that the 295/70/17 seems to be the sweet spot on not needing a re-gear, was told 285/75 is borderline.

Might just be me but they also just look better. I feel like 285s look a bit small when looking from the front and rear.

I agree 100% I rather have the width than 0.5" more height.

You ever get both the RGs and Geolandars in the snow? Wondering how they compare in the lighter wet stuff around town considering ones a hybrid. I was leaning towards going with the RGs but damn those MTs look good lol

Although I am in N. GA the RGs only saw snow once and it wasn't anything crazy, no snow for the MTs yet. But yes they look GREAT!

Thanks for posting this! I am considering these tires, in 295/70/17 or 285/75/17. Those 295's look fantastic! Glad to hear you're not regeared. I don't need it to be fast, so I wasn't planning on regearing yet.
