New cv axle

 

got the wheels and tires on. Today a new lock actuator to try and program remote with no luck. And I installed a rci skid plate
Tomorrow a starter or golf

Finished replacing the head gaskets and every other gasket, timing belt, water pump, new starter, new cam and crank sensors, fan clutch, champion radiator, URD 2.1” pulley and TRD headers. Convinced my best friend to grab 3rd gen too. My addicted offroad bumper finally came in, hopefully will be going on within the next 2 weeks, still waiting on the back bumper however. But to celebrate it all I took her off roading with the boys at The Cliffs Insane Terrain, it was an absolute blast and I can definitely feel a huge upgrade in performance after the rebuild.

 

Painted rims 1.5 days....scuffed rims 1500 grit pads, three coats paint, 3clear.

 

Freakin glorious day!!!! Gonna be 25 degrees colder tomorrow. So threw on the Coopers for winter...

 

Even though I’m not gonna drive in the snow anymore. Maybe just a little before the salt trucks come by. Just lookin around there’s not much rust...

 

I think I got the direction of the tires wrong..

Went to the farmer’s market for fresh vegetables... One reason I like my 3rd Gen so much now is it makes everyone else’s vehicle look like a piece of crap....

 

I’m just a little nervous. I get antique tags in 11 days and there are restrictions.

 

Thats why i decided against historic tags,
I like to travel around to much,and there's hardly any insurance savings in MD.
Only thing good i see is no rip off emission check

 

Well, no more than 200 miles. Can take it out to test and tune. And club events: fishin tourny, hunt club, car show...

 

Oya emmisions is a rip off?? Lol

 

I see the same hstoric tags daily, im not sure how well there actually checking, i think if you drive decently should be fine..

 

You don’t even have inspections?

 

Just one and done in Md. Pa has them every 6mo - yearly seems like.

OMG that reminds me. The workers put cardboard over it and used tape to secure in to the floor. The tape adhesive ate through the stain and ruined the entire floor we had to remove all of it and restain polish the whole thing a second time...

 

There's bunches of those theater, but a really nice lobby in Ca.

 

My friend just died from three strokes and my cousin’s huge garage burnt down last night... Be safe all...

 

Put air in the tires they were down to 24 psi I haven’t checked the tire pressure since they were new I think.

 

Still waiting for parts I ordered in July, Oct, and Nov.
