    Hello ALL.

I will soon be the owner of a 2021 TRD/ORP. And I've been getting great advice from experienced Forum members here. Especially for various mods. So, here's another one:

What hood protectors do you guys have/like ? I believe there are existing mounting holes on the 4Runner hood to mount with screws ? Does anyone own the OEM one that Toyota offers in their Accessories ? Does it mount with screws ?

    Thanks for any help/suggestions.

I think AVS ones look good. Below is a pic from the Youtuber TRD JON. I think they look good on darker colors. Mine's silver so it might look ugly. Haven't decide to install and already got few chips.

I got a dealer install hood protector film on the white but after about 4 years it becomes yellowish. Not very happy to see the color difference.

My wife's has the OEM one on a Silver SR5P. She didn't like it at first... but I convinced her to keep it. With the black emblems if nothing else it offers a nice contrast. Now she loves it, go figure.

As for how it mounts, I can look when I get home.

I have had the AVS one for a year and it has held up well.

Thank you all for your replies. Very helpful. And yes, Snickel, that deflector does indeed look good. I plan on getting the Dark Grey Metallic.
