A/c Compressor works sometimes/sometimes not

    Had my a/c all charged up. Gets cold as hell. Problem is if you drive it for awhile then park it for a short time the compressor won’t kick in. If it’s sits an hour or more it will work. Getting hot??? Condenser looks clean.

    OME 2” lift, BudBuilt armor, RRO sliders, Spartan rear locker
    Here is the FSM troubleshooting guide for A/C problems. Since you just had the A/C system charged, the correct amount of refrigerant should have been installed. I would think your intermittent compressor problem is most likely an electrical issue.

    Thank you. I'm thinking in the direction of electrical problem also. Would rather have a compressor issue than tracking down an electrical issue on a 25 year old car, haha.
