Not looking for an opinion on the TRD PRO roof rack, just looking for mounting info. I recently acquired one off a 2019 and want mount it on our 2018 TRD Offroad. Our’s has the useless factory ski rack or whatever it is. I haven’t fiddled with it yet and was hoping to get some info before I do.

    1) Does the rack use the same mounting positions?
    2) Do the same bolts work?

There is a PDF with mounting instructions somewhere in Toyota’s site. If you don’t find it, PM me and I’ll send it to you when I get to a computer later.

    LOL ...

The good thing about this PDF is that is specifies torque values for the bolts into the roof, something no frigging 3rd party vendor bothers with. Annoys the crap out of me.
