BTW, Please don't get me wrong or get angry for sharing these points for me not buying KDSS. I'm just sharing what I found and decide for me personally. I would never intend to make anyone angry who has KDSS. KDSS has really really good things.

Then I would really research KDSS and decide if it's something you want. There are articles and videos that can explain what it does and how, and much better than anyone here.

For me, the benefits far outweigh the concern about failure.

This might not be the case for you, but don't dismiss it because of anything you read here. Many of the naysayers don't even really know what it is anyway.

That's interesting. I wonder how much of it could be repaired or adjusted by a determined DIY'er.

I didn't touch mine when I lifted and have no issues. 45K miles and plenty of abuse so far.

Worst case according to member in our FB group its just a $1500 part. (Yes its $1500 but that's about a price of a good suspension right?)

It depends on what you consider a good suspension. :D

If mine fails, I'll fix it. Unless it's years down the road and I don't daily the truck anymore. Then, it's SAS, gears, and 37's!

I meant to say its not that expensive. Its same price as a lift. Nothing big.

Wow, you plan 37s. That would be awesome.

Yes we are a family who only owns 4runners if I plan to go that big I'd like to buy a Wrangler just to use as a play rig.

    I was mostly kidding.

But, I might go SAS or long travel years down the road, if the 4runner becomes a dedicated overland rig.

Definitely tough to beat a 2 door Wrangler for a trail toy.:)

Ha ha, you got me.. I thought you were serious as I was looking at what is needed to fit 35s on 4runner.

I also test drove this 4door Rubicon. I wanted to trade in one 4runner and buy it. Didn't get approval from wify..☹☹

Yeah, everything over 33" or so becomes work. I'm getting 34" MT's for a second set, so that should be interesting.
