Sorry I didn't link Amazon, all. Wasn't sure if the rules prohibited external linking or the like.

Oh man, I’d be bumpin some cowboy rap as I cruise down to honky town... oh wait, is honky too racist?

    Side note.
Back in the late 70’s, I worked at a body shop and when we fixed and reapplied the wood grain stickers, we always referred to them as putting it back in the box.

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
I was wondering the same thing. I think the guy doing it either quit or poked his eyes out.

Got the front runner dressed length full rack put on then used it to bring home the tree. Still have a box of accessories that need to be mounted to it like the ace mount, shovel, and hi lift but it’s doing it job now.

That road must be hell in the winter with ice/snow conditions..... I like the rack, but the box looks small for the real estate on top. could be the angle to that makes it look this way

I think there is a Pelican 33/3400 series case that fits perfect on these racks and I think someone here has it on that very same rack....

That hill is horrible in the ice. Snow isn’t bad but the whole subdivision is a hill. From the entrance is up to the back where I live it’s down.

Just installed a Canvasback cover for the puppers, pretty impressed with the quality, really nice coverage.

    Those wheels look soo good.

Couldn't resist from asking about your ditch light. Looks like they are all wide spread. Do you regret getting all wide? Do you wish you had wide + driving combo? Debating which one to get for night driving on empty roads with lot of deer / wildlife.

No regrets... but... I also have a 20” lightbar in spot pattern in my bumper. It fills in the rest. If I didn’t have the bumper light bar, I would have opted for spots on the ditch light brackets with them aimed forward (prioritizing distance lighting).

Here’s a pic of the two working together. Ditch lights are Baja design wide cornering, light bar is a rigid sr pro

If ditch lights are used (and aimed) as intended, they should be wide angle/dispersed.

I guess I should get all wide spread ones then. Would be nice to have some light to the sides. Thinking of BD S2 low profile one as well. Right now I only got a cheap Auxbeam 32" behind grill along with after market LED bulbs.

I hate the look of ditch light, they look very broverland to me. But I need them so I just use the smallest, brightest ones I can get. BD S1s fit the bill.

Very true. I too don't want to kill the stock look of mine. That's why I was looking as BD S2 or KC Flex single. Your BD S1 looks discrete too.

    The same 4Runner everyone has
This is true. They're called ditch lights for this reason. However, some use ditch lights as driving lights and point them straight over their hood (which is a lighting zone I think that is better served by driving lights in the grill). This application runs the risk of creating too much glare on the hood, making it actually worse for your eyes to try and see.

A third option is pointing spot/combo lights slightly out to the sides, to use them as fast cornering lights. I've noticed that my buddies were a little hard to keep up with out at Dove Springs on fast, dusty improved roads- I have the Diode Dynamics driving bar and SAE pods in the grill that throw great punch straight down the road, but the Baja S2 wide cornering ditch lights and SS3 SAE fog lights are too diffused to be much help on fast sweepers. I had to slow down a bit as I could not see the corners very well. They're great for low speed trail work though.

I might consider adding a set of Diode SSC2s to aid as fast cornering lamps. Or the SS3 when they release the combo optic for it. Coming soon!

This will be my second winter with the Falkens and they have been great. That spot where the picture was taken was super icy and rutted out. The Falkens were able to get the Runner up and over it.
