Ok, my cousin is asking if i want to buy his 97 4runner for family pricing. Hes asking $1500, has around 240k, he just recently put on a new water pump, timing belt, and brakes. Is this a good deal or no? Im going to use it mainly as a secondary car/winter car. Just always wanted a 4runner.

I would say yes it is a good price, unless of course it happens to be a rust bucket.

As long as no rust and no oil leaks go for it

I hate it when people do that and don't give any closure.
