I always put in 91 octane as I'm planning on Supercharging eventually and wanted to get used to spending a little more on gas

87, anything higher does absolutely nothing.
Just go to a top tier gas station like Costco.

Costco 87 for over 10 years now. They are top tier, 10 to 40 cents cheaper a gallon and 5% back on there charge card.
The dozen or so times I was not able to use them tried BP, shell, all top tier and lost mpg.

    87, or 88 (e15).

I may start using their fuel as well. Might as well get my money's worth out of the membership.

Never had a bad tank with them. The cc gives 5% on gas(anywhere) and 3% on eating out. Membership I think is 60? and average 300 cash back each year

Play the fuel game. Krogers typically has 4X fuel points on gift cards. Figure out what you spend money on (Amazon, Home Depot, Lowes, Ebay, eating out, etc.). Buy gift cards for $250. Get 2% back from your CC company. Brings the cost of the cards down to $245. Get $1 off per gallon up to 35 gallons. Bring extra gas cans with you (I use 3 - 6 gal cans with an empty 4Runner). That is $35 off plus the $5. $40 off 35 gallons. Do it every week (wife has a GX460, I have a 4Runner and kid has a civic so we use that much in a week). $40/week of savings x 52 weeks = $2k in savings for buying gift cards for shit we buy anyway.

LOL, 5 years ago, I remodeled my kitchen and bought $10K in cabinets from Home depot. Bought $10K in giftcards (40K in points) and played santa and gave 35 people $1 off their fill up.

87 OCT from Top-Tier gas stations.
(or 91 OCT from Costco because in Denver CO we only get 85 or 91 at Costco)
