Haven't been able to capture much this year as everything is closed (all I see is blazing past me on the interstate). A new McLaren, camo Porsche & lots of others.
However, I believe this one will hit all the buttons! If it is what I believe; we have a Cummins (likely 4BT) in a land cruiser. I cannot imagine the time or value. Only the roof was fading (original paint) in Nebraska it must be a transplant!

I have to honesty say that my knowledge of old Toyota trucks is lacking but growing. I always knew about the 4Runner and the old Toyota pickups (before the Tacoma; more ignorance) they used for all the mini-truck builds of the 90's. This truck made me feel something special. It is history and art while still functional. 100% to the owner as it appears it is used properly & taken care of.

This is something I had never seen until recently. Volvo C303. 4WD, triple locked, Portal axles (a very cool thing!), I6 diesel engine. I can hardly imagine a better platform for an off the wall overland build! This thing is hardly bigger than a minivan.

That thing is awesome! I now need to Google it as I am sure it isn't allowed for the US market. That would be a blast for a "camper/ overland" vehicle.

I think you can get them here. There just aren't very many. The Portal axles are one of the coolest things I've heard of. I would love to build a camper out of one!

I have been in the market for a larger truck for lawn, landscaping and snow removal I see a lot of big trucks with portal axles. Truly made for the increase in ground clearance.
I haven't caught up on new "alerts" here from today to Google yet but that looks very interesting!

I had no idea it was so common. It reminds me of those farm machines I get stuck behind in the country occasionally. It would be awesome for a rock crawler build.

With 1984 being the most current model. I can only assume that the restored ones are 6 figures plus.
I would use an old one for snow removal and landscaping as a work truck is a tool...

Yes, it sure did. Three years, 36,000 miles. When we bought it, we went ahead and got the 5 year, 50,000 extended. A clutch or supercharger isn't cheap.

I wouldn't think a clutch would be included in a warranty, unless it was defective. That would be like a warranty on brake pads. :notsure:

Agreed I would think unless there is a MFG defect on a clutch, it's simply a wear item. Some people wear them faster than others.

Also, awesome garage RusPro, looks like a ton of room (also I like the organization of what look to be water lines on the back wall?)

Thank you, Yeah I had everything done to keep it organized. You cannot see the lines next to the other one. I have radiant heat in my concrete floor. I keep it at 62. Wash and detail my cars in there. My wife’s Acura parks on the right side. I had this done when I added on to our house.

Maybe not vehicle porn.. But, I saw this today and thought about what a cool project it could be. Easy 7M-GTE or possible 1JZ swap. Could be a great sleeper!
