Looking for some insight on an issue I am having. Over the summer I installed ditch lights, a light bar, and a usb charging port. All lights are connected to the battery and have inline fuses. They are both hooked into push switched on the dash. USB charger is an add a fuse and only works when car key is on. Lights work when switched is pushed in (with or without key). Everything was working fine until we used the lights to illuminate our work space for about 2 hours with car off. After the car turned on but barely. Now about a month later I was using my compressor to inflate my tires my battery just drained completely and had to jump it. Any suggestions from the group?

Was the vehicle running when you used the compressor? I would be tempted to say that the battery is bad, have it tested to know for sure.

Thanks the the follow up. I think I figured it out, of course as I was distracted with dogs, coldness, and undoing the locks on my sensors, I forgot to have the car in idle instead of running it straight from the battery! Pretty sure this is my fault! I am sure running the compressor for about 20 minutes in 40 degree weather didn’t help!
