    The liners have two lower screws. Once you remove them, the lower part of the liner will push forward with your hand. Look at the metal clips hole, mark them with a sharpie, drill new holes into the plastic liner. Then use the new holes with the existing brackets. Also you may need to dremel part of the bumper, which is not visible if it still rubs.

    Yes.
    Been running 285/70/17 Nitto RGs on Pro wheels for 30K. Zero issues, even when aired down to 15 PSI.

    What this really means is if you use any wheel with the following specs, you can replicate the results of @jack bauer1 - the TRD wheels (I am assuming you are talking about Toyota part number PTR20-35110-BK) are 17x7 ET+4 (which means a 17" diameter wheel, 7" wide with 4mm (3/16") offset and 93mm (3 11/16") backspace), and when the 285/70/17 Nitto RGs are mounted on them, they do not rub. Thanks for all that clarity!

    <soapbox>
    The problem with most of the 'does it fit/rub or doesn't it' posts has to do with the wheel width, offset, and backspace; in addition to the actual tire mounted since 285/70/17 can vary significantly between makes and manufacturers - the crucial wheel specs are usually not specified.

    I rarely, if ever, see these full specs when I see posts declaring either it fits/rubs or it doesn't. It would be a "really good thing" if these were included by the people posting. This thread notwithstanding because all the data is available - thanks.

    Good point. But myself and others replying to the OP are referring to the Oem black TRD wheel. So we’re discussing the same wheel. Only other variable would be the brand of the tire as each manufacturer may vary. I’ve updated my post to reflect tire brand and model.

    I'm not saying don't do it, but I think it's generally recommended to have a 7.5" (or wider) wheel for a 285 tire. Lots of guys run 285's on the 7" wheels and don't have issues. Personally, I wouldn't do it, but that's just me. The tire looks a too balloony IMO anyway with that setup, so I wouldn't do it based upon looks alone, but to each his own.

    Just my opinion I think the 285’s look better and fit better on 8.5 inch wheel. I have them on my SCS wheels. Removed my Pro wheels and stored them away.
