Hi everyone I'm new to the forum and I'm hoping to make my first modification to my 4Runner. I'm having a hard time finding a suspension lift kit for my 2000 4cylinder 4Runner. According to the shop I went to, very few people are lifting 4cylinder 4Runners and as a result kits are not being made. I'm looking to lift it no more than 3 inches. Does anyone know of any suspension lift kits I can use? When I go online I see kits available, but with a note at the bottom stating "not recommended for 4 cylinder". Not doing lift for any serious off roading. Primarily for street use.

I think most of them say that because the 4 cylinder engine will struggle more, especially accompanied with bigger tires. The suspension of a 4 cyl and v6 aren’t different, just less power to my knowledge. I’ve seen plenty 4 cyl 4Runners run 33” tires with 3” of lift. Just be ready for a sluggish and slow ride.

Yeah I figured it would be a slow ride. Perhaps if it's too slow I will get the gear in the rear differential changed.
