Did you buy it or are you waiting for the demand to decrease?

:rain: haha ... even if a new model comes out the demand for earlier models is still there !

I just purchased a 2021 SR5 Premium here in Colorado for 42K, the window sticker was $44,444.00. Mot much of a discount but was not expecting it for a 2021 in Colorado. I had a trade worth 21K and got 2.9% interest. All in all may have been able to do better but it’s for my wife and she really wanted a red with a 3rd row and this was the only one in the area. This will not be built out for wheeling so no need for the OR. Plus we have the built out Tacoma for that.

Ugh, I'm in Oregon, near Idaho. Bountiful (Bountiful, UT) was going to charge $5,000 over on the TRD PRO, Edmark (Nampa,ID) was $2,500 over. This has all happened in the last couple weeks that I've found Peterson (Boise, ID), Rogers (Hermiston, OR), McCurley (Walla Walla, WA), and one in Whenatchee, WA do NOT charge extra. Mine is currently on a boat it appears and should be here within the month and I'll be honest-I AM REALLY FREAKIN EXCITED!!

At a NC dealership I paid 43,111.00 on a 2021 ORP with KDSS, moonroof, 17 inch TRD wheels with Goodyear Wrangler DuraTracs, Black out badges, TRD shifter handle, and predator bar. They claimed MSRP was 50,180 with their exclusive add on paint protection. I said what Is your paint protection? He said a specialized wax they put on the vehicle and an upholstery protectant that is highly specialized. Lmao. hahahahah. That’s some expensive car wax and Armor All. So adding legitimate upgrades the MSRP with destination was 48,513 without the Goodyear tire difference. I really don’t know what values to apply to those they are a grand at least and then the difference between whatever normally comes on the Runner. To the 43,111 I paid 4.15% tax to VA and 130 for tags, title, and registration. That’s basically another 65 profit to the dealer as VA doesn’t charge that much. After cash down walked out with a 40,000 dollar new bank note at 2.24 %. So to sum it up I made an average deal. Didn’t kill it and didn’t get killed.

Well Lunar rock a course!! lol. I have Blizzard pearl currently, my niece just got a grey SR5 and I'm too lazy to have black. Like that there are fewer LR's made.

Mine is coming from Washington; stay the heck outta Cali. The guy that got the first one at the Walla Walla dealership said he was being asked to pay $6-8,000 over MSRP YIKES!

So when we bought our SR5 Premium yesterday, sticker was $43.5k. I got it down to $41k ish and they gave us $28k for our ‘17 Taco that we only owed $18k on. They originally only wanted to give us $26k but I got them to come up some. After it was all said and done, we financed $33.5k and since our interest rate went down by 0.5%, my payment is actually lower.

I just got my first 4Runner tonight! 2021 TRD ORP in white with moonroof, running boards and all weather liners (MSRP was $44,798). I paid $41,309 before tax and tag. Purchased in PA just outside Philly. Moving with the wife to Montana next week and cant wait to ride it out there and break it in!

I’m in CA so pricing wise and tax may be more accurate than the price from people out of state. I got $2,600 off MSRP for the Venture trim. I was in the market for an ORP but didn’t want to wait around for another ORP in MGM so I just bought the Venture. I like the pro wheels (dislike the roof rack and already sold it.. the side rail is growing on me but it might go soon.. it looked bare without it and looked cluttered when looking at the bottom..so I’m keeping it on for now). I also like the black valence, black badging and sides de-badged (could’ve done it myself I know). I don’t care for the door handle being black but the black side-mirror and spoiler looks nice makes it look different than the rest out there.

Back to the point.... out the door with tax at 7.75%, licensing and registration was a bit over $50k. Sticker price on the Venture was $48k+ and ORP was $46k+ (Both with KDSS).

My dealer, which is very large, is showing a bit more than 3000 off MSRP for its 2021 SR5 Premiums and ORPs, and 3500 off its Limiteds. Those prices are for in stock vehicles. The ones listed as Arriving Soon show discounts of only a few hundred dollars.

PS I think these are real prices. It took me weeks to negotiate my 2020 Limited to a 4500 discount. But on the plus side, there was no bait and switch nonsense or upsells etc.

I had to pay over MSRP for a 2021 Pro even having a connection to the owner of the dealership.

That may be market price for a new Pro these days, at least in your region. But it's a classic example of how dealers behave. As a rule, they'd rip off their own mothers if their own mothers were dumb enough to allow it. They'd sell her $1,000 pinstriping. They'd sell her $700 mudflaps. They'd charge her 5% APR to get a 3% kickback from the lender. That's how they are. There aren't much morals in car sales. It's survival of the fittest.

Just bought my first ever 4Runner, 2021 ORP through CostCo auto in Indiana. Last new 4Runner of any trim on the lot. Very limited stock at all dealers around central Indiana. They honored not only the CostCo price but also took off the $500 Toyota’s sales promotion.

Bottom line $1700 under invoice. Moonroof, mats, no KDSS $40,175 out the door. If you do the short CostCo survey after purchase you also get a coupon for half off an accessory up to $200 value. TRD Pro skid plate incoming ;-). Very happy new owner here.

Just picked up a 2021 ORP; non-KDSS, moonroof in red.

MSRP was 44274; selling price (before sales tax, DMV) was 41252 which includes the current 1k rebate.

Hi, I'm in PA, I'm looking now, I had a 4Runner years ago and miss it terribly. Hubby said "So get another one." So I really want to get a decent fair deal. Please share your dealership name?

Welcome! As others have stated, it depends on your location. I paid 48k OTD for a Limited Nightshade. I probably could have done a little better, but I was happy with my deal.

Thats going to be tough depending where you are and what trim level you want. I was able to get a couple extra grand on my trade and $500 off the sticker. I got $1000 rebate and the lower finance rate for excellent credit but that about it.

Read and watch negotiating tactics work them. If you can manage nocking down 1500 to 2k its a WIN
