    Hello folks newbie here! I owned 5th generation 4R Nightshade Edition got some question about the automatic running boards indicator on the dashboard its not working anymore no lights at all,just wondering what went wrong,I went to the dealership this morning they cannot figure it out either,PLEASE HELP thanksFD567ADF-AAFA-4BD9-8DD5-795FF579E71C.jpg

    thanks for your concern I don’t really know , I thought that indicator lights up when the running boards are fully retracted then it turns off when the boards are not in use?
    That’s all I remember so I need some feedback from Nightshade owners...

    yup I know but its not a flash tho its a solid light , sorry bro I hardly use my 4R I might just overreacted I’ll just keep on eye what’s next,btw the switch is in automatic position

    Tires, tail lights, rack, so far.
    It only comes on if the board is stuck. If you hit the start button as it’s retracting, it’ll get stuck out and that light comes on. Either open and close the door, or drive a few feet and it’ll go back in, light goes off.

    Mine works exactly like that. No light during normal operation, either open or closed.
