Sorry, like the Tesla Model Y? If he enjoys the outdoors, going into the country, get the 4Runner. If he enjoys going to Starbucks, get the Model Y.

But seriously I think it comes down to what he wants out of a vehicle because they are two very different machines.

If he's even CONSIDERING a Model Y, I doubt very much that the 4Runner is the vehicle for him.

    Like he said.

Not bashing any Tesla -- there's a lot to like. This choice is just so apples and oranges it's almost funny.

Also, going "out to the country" means that electric charging stations will be few and far between. The farther you get from populated areas, the more likely you are to run out of juice and get stranded at a bad time.

I have to agree with what the others are saying. It's beyond apples and oranges.

The 4runner being ICE has a big advantage as you wander further from the city.

EDIT: The model Y is ugly AF, if that helps. :D

Also, go to the Tesla forum ask the same question. Then you take both opinions then compare.

In the end, you have to test drive both. Any opinion just for you to take into reconsideration.

But seriously, get 4Runner if "he enjoys the outdoors going out to the country etc , "

Lordy, do not go to the Tesla forum. Tesla bros are humorless, intense, and myopic.

Let me ask this question in a better way. Would you like a deep fryer or a jogging outfit. :D
