Picked up a new Project Toy

Picked up a 99 limited 4runner Saturday to part out Killer deal $500. But this thing is awesome so I'm going to keep it. Has some front end damage but an easy fix.

 

That dashboard looks way different. Got any better pics of it?

 

Yea, looks like a 4th gen dashboard.

Oh...i see, the photo was taken from another vehicle (duh).

 

Yes the picture is from my second gen Tacoma. We towed the 4runner home do to the emobiliser key issue. Here is a picture of the dash.

Thanks, Not sure yet about the rear bumper. I may do trail gear down the road. I'm a fan and I have them on my tacoma.

Lucky, I have been thinking about such project since I got the 2020 Runner, but the prices in Canada are simply disgusting, not to mention the quality of these slim pickings.

I was not planning this project. It fell in my lap $500 i couldn't pass. everything is to solid to do a part out.

 

I love how this 4Runner has the same ECT button my 2018 Tacoma had lol

 

I have that button. What does it do? Asked the dealer in 2002 and he couldn't tell me.

 

I believe it changes the shift points on the automatic transmission so when you tow its better on the trans.

 

I liked it so much i left it on all the time in my 02.

 

I got a new ECU and key this week she fired rite up. Also pulled all the bent up and broken parts off the front end.
