Do the 2021 limiteds come with paint protection film on the front and rear bumpers?

I was looking closely at my new 2021 bumpers and I saw a very subtle line along the edge of the rear and front bumpers. They are so slight that I can’t tell if it is PPF or not. The invoice when I bought the car definitely did not include the expensive PPF option.

I didn’t notice this line that is possibly PPF on my 2019 limited that I just traded in a couple days ago.

    Pics attached. Is it PPF?

I see. Do you have it on yours? I definitely did not have that mold line on my 2019

It does look like PPF. Did you ask the dealer? or is there anything on window sticker?

sticker didn’t show any options aside from the running boards and wheel locks. The reason I’m interested is that I want to get PPF and the dealer said they don’t even have the capability to do so.

if it is indeed PPF, then I can save myself the cost of doing the bumper. And instead pay far less for the hood, which I may even be able to do myself with a precut kit.

I was thinking myself doing hood with precut kit.

I’ve never done tint or PPF before but the Hood seems easy enough since it’s mostly flat. The bumper with those cuts is a very different sorry. But It might be worth a shot to be $150 for a bumper kit to save myself $600+ from a pro.

anyway if this is indeed PPF then I’d be ecstatic for not having to pay for it lol

The mold lines are on lots of Toyota models. I work for XPEL. We get those questions quite often actually.

Good to know. Looks like I’ll have it spring for the DIY kit and hope I don’t mess it up lol
