4Runner jerks when starting again from a stop

Hello everyone! I have a 2010 4runner with a odd issue. When coming off the brake at a stop to start moving the 4Runner will jerk a little bit. Anyone had this issue?

 

I didn't know if this applied to the 5th gens but apparently is does. It's a well documented issue that's been going on for years. Greasing the driveshaft u-joints with the correct grease, (it takes two different ones) sometimes will correct it. Just do a search for 4runner driveline bump or drivetrain bump. You should get plenty of results. I actually had the same thing on 2000 Tundra I had. The good news is it's mostly harmless, just annoying.

 

I had the exact same issue with my FJ and greasing the front driveshaft slip joint cured the problem right away

 

there are some product Tacoma, Camry, Tundra have this problem with TSB require TCM update, You need to have dealer check if your vehicle need it.
