I’m sitting at 300 miles on a tank and I think I have a lot more to go. What’s 9B4A33AC-27E8-4BEF-A7F7-BF1D416EF7D3.jpg your best?

I don't remember with my 97 or 2012..... 2019 380-390 range before lift... now... if I get 330, i call it a day and smile.

That gauge cluster is cooler than 5th gen. Just sayin. I love the old green and orange clusters.

I got to 304 on mine. The gas light wasn't on but I the needle was very low on the gage. I have wider tires but its stock otherwise. I see your festive ABS light is on in time for the upcoming holidays.

I've broken 400 a couple times and could have gone longer. With the 23 gallon tank in a 5th gen, 400 miles is only 17.4 MPG. In my experience (less than 6k miles total) the realistic maximum range is about 475, and the realistic minimum is about 300.

PS in my experience there's roughly 2 gallons remaining when the gauge reads empty and the Miles Remaining shows 0.

That's if you drive it until it's bone dry. If you drive until it says 0 miles to empty, there's about 2.5 gallons left. That's already pushing it a little.

At 20 mpg, about 400 miles per tank is realistic. I've never pushed past 360-370. I doubt I'll ever see that out of a tank again, though.

LOL yeah, I'm not recommending people drive their tanks dry. Just trying to answer the question about how many miles one can get on a tank. In theory 500 is possible. That's what Car and Driver estimated when they did their real-world mileage test on a 2019 ORP, where they got 22 mpg on a 200 mile highway loop at a steady 75 mph.

But in my experience that's quite optimistic. Maybe cause I'm on 20" wheels and have cross bars, but on my drives I wouldn't get 22 unless I was going about 60.

In actual use, I've probably averaged 350 miles between fill ups, since I usually fill before the gas light comes on.

    Just checking. :D

You're still doing better than me. I never got a good sample with the stock SL's, though. My best was 21.4 MPG on C rated KO2's, but generally got about 18-20 HWY. Usually 300-350 on a tank.

Well I’m supposed to have an 18.5 gallon tank so I have a three gallon reserve?

With our 13 SR5 setting on 265s with 145,xxx miles we get over 380 - 400 every tank.
On long road trips we've seen up around 420 a few times but those are very rare.
