Hey gang, sorry in advance for the long post.

Reaching out for some expertise and suggestions for those of you that have a Toytec lift. Have a 2020 4Runner Venture (TRD Off Road), all stock. I've spent hours and hours researching lifts, reading through this forum, so thank you to everyone who contributes!

What I hate about the stock suspension:

    1. Really squishy. I know this sucker isn't a Corvette, but sheesh! I know it may be partially due to the shi**y stock Bridgestone Dueler tires (really, Toyota???).
    2. Nose dive on braking. Way, way, way too much nose dive.
    3. Too much rake and too low up front. I do like a bit of rake, but the front is way too low.

I'm looking at the for my 2020 4Runner. What I'm looking to do:

    1. 2.5 inch front lift, keeping the stock UCAs.
    2. Going from stock 265/70/17 tires to 275/70/17 WildPeak AT/3 on the stock TRD Venture rims (17X7).
    3. Don't think I'll ever go to 285/70/17 as this sucker is 95% mall crawler and 5% forest roads/no rock crawling. Want to keep more on-road drivability versus off road.

    My questions:

    1. I'm leaning to the 650 lb front coils to firm up the front end to reduce nose dive and squishy ride. I'm not planning on carrying any extra weight up front. Am I wrong and should I be looking at the 600 lb coils as they would solve my problem/issue?
    2. I'm only planning to lift the front 2.5 inches, so am I good with stock UCAs?
    3. Would a 2.5 inch lift accommodate 275/70/17 Wildpeaks without rubbing/removing mud flaps?
    4. The rear coils that come with this kit are Toytec RCC2.0 rear springs--offer 2" of lift with stock rear weight. Would a 2.5 inch front lift and these rear springs be TOO MUCH rake? I'm OK with some rake, and actually prefer over level look. Does a 2" rear lift assume a 3" front lift thus creating that "level" look?

Thanks everyone. Looking forward to responses and maybe even some pictures of Toytec lifts with details of what you've done!

    1. You should be fine with the 600lb front coils. The shocks alone will firm up the ride compared to OEM.
    2. Plan on potentially buying them, at 2.5 inches up front id say you probably will unless you can find a really good alignment tech.
    3. Youll fit the 275 tires just fine especially on stock wheels, should have zero rubbing.
    4. You’ll have some rake still. I did a 3 up front and 2 in the rear lift and still have a minimal amount of rake.

Thanks @Mtbpsych! If I'm doing the math correctly, would this setup with 2.5" lift in front and 2" in rear yield about 1-1/5" rake and not more than that based on your setup?

Yeah you should be in the 1 inch range. I’ve never measured the front and rear but a lot of guys say they do a 2 inch lift up front and nothing in the rear and are level, but 1 inch higher in the front than rear looks more accurate to me. You’ll end up most likely with a noticeable amount of rake with that setup.
