Anyone have one of these installed? Was wondering how loud yours is and if it’s a constant throaty sound?

dealer inconvenienced me and I asked for one as compensation and they gave me one and installed it. Just wondering if it was installed correctly thanks.

We have the TRD intake & stock exhaust. It is my wife's daily & if there was an odd noise it would be gone. It gives it a little more noise but nothing you will notice in a few days.
The only time I remember it is there is under heavy acceleration & I like that. It is breathing better.
Remember; it adds like 50hp! LMAO
    Hope it helps,
    Ryan

If they didn't use proper hardware with the mounting holes there could be an odd noise. There is even something in the installation manual that says you should caulk the bottom. I think it is a drain hole in case of water intrusion.
Can you get a video of the noise? I would but I am deficient in computers. Then I can try & replicate it...
    Ryan.

Mine makes the engine sound less like a blender at higher rpm's. Other then that, don't know its there. Check and see if the rubber "air diverter" (i think its called, been awhile since i installed) is connected to the airbox into the fender. It's not the easiest thing to get on and i can see a dealer tech "forgetting" it. Drain hole in the airbox has been know to cause a slight whistle and as mentioned could be sealed. Other then that make sure all the fittings are tight and sealed. Oh, there has been a post or two about the vacuum line fittings being sealed and needed to be drilled, poor casting or something.

I spent some time last night going over it. Everything’s installed properly. My ears are just sensitive. Compared some YouTube videos. There’s no whistle. Just not used to the engine making any noise other than a minivan sound lol. Thanks guys.
