Hello everyone I live up in Ontario, Canada and we have some real issues with rust up here. Last week I hit a huge pot hole and my drivers side rear shock blew thru the top mount. This should not be a hard fix as I will just weld in a new mount or weld in a new crossmember and attach the shock to it thus allowing me to do both sides at the same time so I avoid the passenger side failing in the future. I am worried if my upper coil buckets are also weak from rust do I weld in new upper coil buckets at the same time or I am wondering if any members have removed the rear coils and installed leaf springs or possibly coil overs for the rear end. Any insight or suggestions from members would be appreciated.

    Greg
