Roar noise at 61-65mph

I am encountering a "ROAR" noise from 61-65mph . Just put new struts on. Thought it may be wheel bearing, but tire moves easily. I'm at a loss. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Were you able to resolve your issue? How did you solve it? I'm having a similar problem.

 

i would guess wheel bearing. Im assuming you had it aligned after the new strut install?

 

I didn't install new struts on mine. i just bought it with 250k miles on it. The wheel bearings look OK. U-joints look fine. I greased them, anyway. I'm thinking worn gears in the rear end. I punted and took it to a local shop. They are having the same problems diagnosing it.
